They meet in the most bungling of situations and they become, fast enemies. But when two people are meant to stay together. it doesnt really matter if their first meeting turns disastrous.

PERLAS NG SILANGAN--- A monumental epic based on the traditions and culture of our Muslim Brothers, which was shot some 25 years ago. Conceptualized by FPJ himself, together with Fred Navarro, "Perlas Ng Silangan" was filmed with the extensive research done by the producer and the writer. Shown in the flick are the costumes of our Muslim brothers like the rituals of the Juramentados, the burial of the Sultan at the sunset, the battle between the Spaniards and the natives and the landing of the Conquistadores. Another highlight is the fierce battle between Ronnie and his adversary, Vic Vargas, who played a true-blue Muslim in contrast to Ronnie, who played a half-Spanish, half-Muslim.
